Techniques on how to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, pain and isolation.
Appropriate exercise for maintaining and improving strength, flexibility and endurance.
Appropriate use of medications
Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professions
Pacing activity and rest
How to evaluate new treatments
Tools such as staff support, books, relaxation and exercise CDs are included in this FREE course. Workshops meet for two and half hours, once a week for six weeks.
