Find a Workshop
You can search for programs in two ways.
1. Click on the COUNTY search and either type in your county name or use the scrolling bar to locate it from the list. Then click the yellow SEARCH button. This will bring up ALL available workshops in your county, or
2. Enter your address or zip code and select a radius of up to 20 miles. Then click the yellow SEARCH button. This will bring up all the workshops within that geographic area.

In Person A Matter of Balance – Lake Forest
A Matter of Balance is an 8-session structured group intervention that strategizes to reduce fear of falling and increase activity levels. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. This program consists of group discussion; strength, balance, & flexibility exercise during session 3-8, and a Guest Health Care Professional (GHP) visit to demonstrate safe techniques for getting down to the ground and getting up from a fall. This workshop will take place in-person at Prothero Mobile Estates –Lake Forest. Registration is required, register by September 17, 2025.
