Our workshops help you learn ways to manage your health condition, so that you can feel better and live life more fully, every day.
You’ll meet other people who have similar health conditions, and learn together in a supportive and sociable environment. Most workshops run for around 2 ½ hours once a week for 6 weeks. They are typically led by two specially trained leaders who sometimes have similar health conditions. Workshops take place in a variety of community settings all over California. And don’t worry, you can be sure that what you learn in the workshops will not conflict with any medical treatment you might be receiving. In fact, your doctor will be very happy to hear that you are learning ways to self-manage your condition!
