Our workshops help you learn ways to manage your health, so that you can feel better and live life more fully, every day.
You’ll meet other people who have similar health conditions or who may share your fear of falling, and you’ll learn together in a supportive and sociable environment. Most workshops run for around 2-2 ½ hours once a week for 6-8 weeks, depending on the program. They are typically led by two specially trained leaders who sometimes have similar health conditions or have experienced a fall that affected their health. Workshops take place in a variety of community settings all over California. And don’t worry, you can be sure that what you learn in the workshops will not conflict with any medical treatment you might be receiving. In fact, your doctor will be very happy to hear that you are learning ways to manage your health in a way that impacts your mind and your body!
